Hi, I'm Jaye :) Here at Jayebird.com I micro-blog to bring you into my studio to see the potter and the work. I also like to share the things I find beautiful and fun — birds and birding, painting, gardening, yoga, design, foods and such like that. I discovered ceramics in late 2009 and since then I've become specialized in functional pottery that usually starts on the wheel and ends up around 2200°F degrees in the kiln. I was a freelance illustrator and graphic/web designer B.C. (Before Clay), but then I got my hands dirty...and I haven't looked back since.

These days you can find me in my studio in Boston, MA. (USA) or happily home with my fiancé and our nutty little green-cheek conure parrot, Mango. Online, I'm on Twitter or see new pics at my Flickr.
